IDF can help with IVIG shortage
With some agencies reporting difficulties in getting immune globulin (IG) for patients, the Immune Deficiency Foundation can help. A spokeswoman recently told Home Infusion Therapy Management that if a physician or home infusion provider is unable to acquire IVIG for a patient, they should call the Foundation, which will "use whatever resources we have to get the immune globulin."
