Becton Dickinson signs acquisition agreement
Franklin Lakes, NJ-based Becton Dickinson and Company has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the Medical Devices Division of Ohmeda, the health care business of the BOC Group of the United Kingdom, for approximately $452 million.
The division is a leading European marketer of IV catheters and other disposable devices for infusion therapy and supplies, critical care products, such as central venous catheters, and pulmonary artery catheters.
