Outpatient PPS guide available on the Web

The American Hospital Association and the Association of American Medical Colleges have put on the Internet their new "Guide to Assessing the Financial Impact of Outpatient PPS."

The guide is designed to help hospitals and health systems analyze how the outpatient prospective payment system will affect them financially. It also should help hospitals decide where and how they should devote resources to make the operational and structural changes needed for life with the outpatient prospective payment system.
