Last chance for non-BSNs to receive certification

The American Nurses Credentialing Center will soon require a BSN or higher to receive certification in any of its 27 specialties. However, nurses who currently don’t have a BSN may become certified in six areas general nursing practice, medical-surgical nursing, gerontological nursing, pediatric nursing, perinatal nursing, or psychiatric and mental health nursing prior to the end of the year.
