HHCA acquires company with private-pay mix
Home Health Corp of America (HHCA) of King of Prussia, PA, has completed the acquisition of the stock of RSD Management. RSD, based in southern New Hampshire, is a nursing company providing, through a wholly owned subsidiary, home nursing to Medicare and private-pay patients in the metropolitan Boston area. The company has annual revenues of approximately $18 million.
The acquisition brings the company into Boston, a new marketplace, while enabling it to continue a strategy of growth through acquisitions in the Northeast, according to company officials.
HHCA is a regional provider of comprehensive home health care services, delivering nursing and related patient services, respiratory therapy, infusion therapy, and durable medical equipment. The company owns and operates 30 branch locations in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland, Florida, and Illinois.
