Vascular access database available
Healthcare Design Specialists (HDS), a consulting practice based in Denver, recently completed the development of its vascular access database (VAD). Designed to track all data elements regarding vascular access, the tool is a Windows95-based product.
The tool allows health care providers to compile and analyze information on vascular access such as the impact of techniques, comorbidities, and advances on clinical and financial outcomes.
The VAD will collect data from multiple sources and provide geographic and program-specific reports. HDS will provide annual summary reports to all users of the VAD. For more information, call (800) 800-3642.
