Gahart Intravenous Medications to be released
It’s the electronic version
An electronic version of Gahart Intravenous Medications, a book currently in its 13th edition that provides nurses with current information on intravenous drugs, will be available early next year.
The electronic version, published by Franklin Electronic Publishers, based in Burlington, NJ, will be for use with Franklin’s Bookman products, which are small, hand-held devices into which book cards can be loaded, providing mobile access to information.
The nursing product will be a dedicated hand-held platform with "Nursing Diagnosis: Definitions and Classifications" on the motherboard. The nursing product will have three slots in the back, allowing the user to load two additional electronic books, says Wayne Spence, marketing manager of the medical division at Franklin Electronic Publishers.
Currently available is the "Nursing97 Drug Handbook," while more titles, including Gahart’s, are scheduled to follow.
