The Baylor College of Medicine International Pediatric AIDS Initiative at Texas Childrens Hospital created a global health corps named the Pediatric AIDS Corps in June 2005. The authors will address the practical aspects of insulin therapy including when and how to start insulin, review titration regimens, and provide insight into selecting insulins to best match patient needs.
