URAC to recognize external DM programs

URAC has announced that it will recognize its Disease Management Standards as meeting quality improvement project requirements under its Health Plan and Health Network Standards.

The recognition simplifies the accreditation process for health plans and networks that contract with URAC-accredited disease management organizations.
