Clinical trials for HIV detailed in directory
Free resource helps referrals
The AIDS Treatment Data Network in New York City recently updated its free directory of clinical trials for men, women, and children with HIV/AIDS. The Experimental Treatment Guide lists many new studies to which case managers may want to refer their patients.
The directory is free. However, the network asks that those who are able send a $10 contribution to cover printing, postage, and research costs.
The network also publishes continually updated simple fact sheets, one-page descriptions of AIDS treatments, conditions, and treatment issues such as nutrition.
To order the clinical trial directory, contact AIDS Treatment Data Network, 611 Broadway, Suite 613, New York, NY 10012. Telephone: (800) 734-7104 or (212) 260-8868. E-mail: network@ atdn.org.
