The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations has opened a site on the World Wide Web.

The new Internet venture is intended to provide the health care community with ready access to the Joint Commission’s services and products. Information on the Web site includes details on each of the Joint Commission’s accreditation programs and how to apply for a survey; information on the Joint Commission standards and survey processes; performance measurement initiatives; catalogs of publications; and the Joint Commission’s newsletter, This Month at the Joint Commission.
