Amedisys opens first alternate-site suite
Baton Rouge, LA-based Amedisys recently announced the opening of the first of several alternate site infusion therapy offices. The office opened in San Antonio and will provide a wide range of infusion therapies, including enteral/parenteral nutrition, antibiotics, chemotherapy, biologicals, immune globulins, hydration, and pain management. The above services will be provided in the freestanding, physician-directed suite as well as in patients' homes, when appropriate.
