After reading each issue of Bioterrorism Watch, the infection control professional will be able to do the following:
• identify the particular
clinical, legal or educational issue related to bioterrorism;
• describe how the
issue affects health care providers, hospitals, or the health care industry
in general;
• cite solutions to the problems
associated with bioterrorism, based on guidelines from the federal Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention or other authorities, and/or based on independent
recommendations from clinicians and bioterrorism experts.
