Plan now to attend fall health conferences
Ready to update your knowledge on family planning issues and network with fellow clinicians? Take advantage of upcoming fall conferences, all aimed at family planning providers.
Register today for the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals’ (ARHP) 42nd annual meeting, scheduled for Sept. 7-10 in Tampa/St. Petersburg, FL. Conference will cover such topics as male contraceptive research, microbicides, and women’s sexual health in midlife and beyond. Preconference sessions will address such topics as manual vacuum aspiration and intrauterine contraception.
Early registration deadline is Aug. 5. Early fees are physician member, $400, and nonmember, $680; clinician member, $360, and nonmember, $620; add $100 to each following the deadline. The Washington, DC-based National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH) will host its eighth annual conference at the Registry Resort and Club in Naples, FL, Sept. 28-Oct. 1.
Topics will touch on such issues as sexuality, sexually transmitted diseases, urologic disorders, immunologic disorders, and mental health.
To register on-line for the conference, go to the NPWH web site (www.npwh.org) and click on the conference link. Early registration fee for NPWH members is $325; the deadline is Aug. 15. Nonmember fee is $400, and includes NPWH membership. Regular registration for members is $375; the deadline is Sept. 14.
