Medicare carriers offer toll-free advice

If you have a question on billing, claims processing, or other Medicare-related topics, you can now call the Health Care Financing Administration’s toll-free telephone service for physicians, hospitals, and home health providers. Each state has its own call center. The number for your area is available from your Medicare contractor.
