Philip J. Landry joins HB
Prominent surgeon Philip J. Landry, MD, has joined Healthcare Benchmarks as consulting editor, a position that advises on and helps direct editorial content in this newsletter. Landry is director of clinical informatics and medical quality improvement at South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth, MA, where he also serves as chairman of the surgery department and president of the medical staff.
Landry also chairs his hospital’s patient management redesign committee, which determines improvement in patient care processes. He studied at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and at New York Medical College in New York City.
