MedScape offers a career page on its Web site

Job seekers can now browse through job post-ings or post a résumé on the "MedScape Career Center" at MedScape’s Web site at http://www.medscape.com. Employers can post job openings on the same site.

Visitors to the Web site must register, but registration is free. Job seekers can click on "Job Search" and look by location, discipline (one of the choices is "Health Care Medical Records/ Health Information") and key words to narrow down the search.

Another option, "Résumé Builder," allows job seekers to post their résumés on the site. A series of boxes guide job seekers through the education and experience information they can post.

The site, which contains information from clinical journals, medical news providers, medical education programs, and other sources, also offers free access to Medline, which contains more than 8.4 million abstracts from 3,800 medical journals.
