Windows-based system coming out this spring
Health plans anxious to meet HEDIS June reporting deadlines may be interested in a new Windows-based system for reporting HEDIS 3.0 information scheduled for release in April 1997. The new DataScan HEDIS 3.0 reporting system developed by the MEDSTAT Group in Ann Arbor, MI, offers advanced client/server technology and reporting flexibility.
The DataScan HEDIS 3.0 reporting system generates reports for nearly all of the eight claim- and administrative-based HEDIS measures, including new reporting requirements such as adolescent immunization status and breast cancer screening.
DataScan features data warehouse capability, provider profiling, and a comprehensive health information database that integrates and standardizes data from across a health plan or provider organization. The system generates reports that meet HEDIS 3.0 reporting requirements.
