Delta, OCS market OASIS software

Delta Health Systems has entered into a marketing agreement with Outcome Concept System, (OCS) to introduce what it describes as a comprehensive OASIS (Outcomes and Assessment Information Set) computer program.

The program will provide a data collection module and reporting and graphing features along with a benchmarking service, the company says. The OCS-OASIS software also meets the ORYX initiative issued by the Joint commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), which requires agencies to select a JCAHO-approved performance measurement system by December 1998. The Health Care Financing Administration will begin collecting OASIS data as soon as September 1998.
