Todd named DSM consulting editor
Disease State Management is pleased to announce its new consulting editor, Warren Todd, MBA, vice president of business development at Hastings Healthcare Group in Pennington, NJ. Todd received a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University in Boston and a MBA from Columbia University in New York City.
Todd formerly was vice president of marketing at the National Jewish Center for Immunology and Respiratory Medicine in Denver. He was responsible for marketing managed care, professional education, and business development functions. Todd helped engineer the National Jewish Center’s transition from a national center of excellence in severe asthma into a comprehensive asthma disease management program.
Todd is co-editor of the book Disease Management: A Systems Approach to Improving Patient Outcomes, published by the American Hospital Association in Chicago. He also has published many articles on disease management, strategic alliances, total quality improvement, capitation contracting, and patient compliance. Todd is disease management section editor for the Journal of Current Medicine and serves on the editorial advisory boards of numerous health care journals and conference organizations.
