The manual can be built from 53 chapters in eight categories: Heart Basics, Procedures, Healthy Eating, Lifestyle Changes, At Home, Medications, Special Issues, and Emergency. The appropriate chapters are inserted into a three ring binder.
The manual also includes preprinted documentation sheets with checklists that enable educators to track the progress of education and learning. Each chapter was developed with practicing specialists to ensure that the manual would contain the most reliable information and advice.
