New survey measures satisfaction, health status

San Mateo, CA-based Iameter has released an automated patient satisfaction and health status survey system called I-Vox. With I-Vox, patients complete a brief general health survey upon admission with the understanding that they will also receive an automated telephone call for follow-up after discharge. At home, patients respond to the I-Vox survey by using the push buttons of their telephones. Responses can be integrated with standard clinical and financial information.
