Telemedicine company builds service database
Home Access Health of Hoffman Estates, IL, a leader in telemedicine services, says it now has more than 19,000 listings in its national database of state/local health departments, AIDS service organizations, physicians, and related social service providers.
A provider of home medical testing and consultation, the company says it has added over 6,000 entries in the last eight months. All organizations listed in the company’s Referraltrak database are verified for accuracy and used exclusively to provide medical and social service referrals for clients who purchase either Home Access (results in seven days) or Home Access Express (results in three days) HIV home test kits.
Referraltrak list organizations that provide a wide variety of services to people affected by HIV, including alternative therapies, case management, crisis intervention, legal assistance, medical treatment, psychotherapy, spiritual counseling, and substance abuse counseling and treatment. Organized by services provided, Referraltrak also includes and identifies organizations that provide services to address the needs of specific populations.
