EC Hotline adds number, Web site now in Spanish
Access to information on emergency contraception just got easier: A second toll-free telephone number has been added, and the Emergency Contraception (EC) World Wide Web site is now available in Spanish.
The additional EC Hotline number is (888) NOT-2-LATE, an easy-to-remember addition to the original number, (800) 584-9911. English and Spanish information can be accessed from the EC Web site at http://opr.princeton.edu/ec/. Both the telephone numbers and the Web site provide consumer information on emergency contraceptive pills and other forms of emergency contraception. The Hotline gained national exposure in April with a news segment aired by many NBC stations following the popular television show "ER." The segment included information on emergency contraceptive pills in conjunction with the show’s portrayal of a woman who received emergency contraception following a date rape.
