House bill allows home care for veterans
The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Veterans Health Programs Improvement Act of 1997, H.R. 2206.
The bill authorizes the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to provide appropriate health related services through public and private agencies, including home care and adult day care. The legislation was developed to improve a number of veterans health care programs.
