The American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), the American Medical Informatics Association, the Computer-based Patient Record Institute, and the Joint Healthcare Technology Alliance will hold a joint conference on how to comply with federal administrative simplification regulations, which take effect this year under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996.
