HIC co-sponsors regional conferences
Hospital Infection Control and American Health Consultants are co-sponsoring four regional educational conferences and expositions that are being presented by the Society for Healthcare Safety, Compliance & Infection Control (SHSCIC).
The first day of each conference features an optional seminar titled "SuperBugs: The Challenge of Emerging Bacterial & Viral Pathogens." On the second day of each conference, three simultaneous tracks will be offered: Track I: Safety & Infection Control in the Operating Room & Central Sterile Areas; Track II: Safety & Infection Control in Long-Term Care; Track III: Safety & Infection Control in Ambulatory and Office Care. In addition, a large product exposition will be featured as part of each conference. Continuing education units will be granted for nurses, physicians, safety professionals, and pharmacists.

· April 22-23, 1998, White Plains, NY (New York City Area), Westchester County Center.
· April 28-29, 1998, Villa Park, IL (Chicago area), Odeum Exposition Center.
· June 2-3, 1998, Boxborough, MA (Boston area), Holiday Inn Conference Center.
· June 8-9, 1998, King of Prussia, PA (Philadelphia area), Sheraton Valley Forge Center.
