Generic equivalence guide is available from APhA
Evaluating Therapeutic Equivalence: A Pharma-cist's Guide, an American Pharmaceutical Association-produced (APhA) report, is available to pharmacists having a hand in formulary construction that's focusing on what generics to consider.
The guidebook details the therapeutic coding system used for equivalency ratings set by the FDA, as well as offering the generics and costs common to the marketplace. If you were not one of the 70,000 pharmacists the APhA mailed the guidebook to, it's available for $10 ($5 to AphA members) by calling (800) 878-0729.
