In conjunction with the Japan Heart Rhythm Society annual meeting in Tokyo in early July, Medtronic (Minneapolis) reported Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) approval of the Medtronic InSync III Marquis cardiac resynchronization therapy-defibrillator (CRT-D) in Japan.
