Quantitative software programs developed for use with cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging, such as the QVA-CMS package from Medis (Leiden, Netherlands), have been proposed by Dr. Michel Romanens of the Radiology Diagnostic Centers in Switzerland as offering good performance in the assessment of heart function and of shunt problems.
