JCAHO accredits Kaiser Permanente
All 16 of Kaiser Permanente’s northern California hospitals have received continuing, three-year accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
JCAHO singled out Santa Clara Medical Center’s perinatal services, Sacramento and South Sacramento Medical Centers’ stroke pathways services, the critical cares services at Walnut Creek Medical Center, and preventative medicine programs, in general, including pediatric asthma prevention, immunization, and mammography screening programs.
